System Dynamics has highly experienced and committed people in its leadership team and throughout the organisation.  These people bring a competitive advantage to System Dynamics in the markets and sectors in which we operate.

To maintain this position, talent management is one of our key objectives and is supported by a detailed development plan for each individual in the Company along with a proactive recruiting process that has a strong focus on culture as well as ability. 

The Company maintains a Leadership Development Program for its current and future leaders. All of our people receive training in key Client Centric behaviours. We hire our own people and build Associate relationships with trusted consultants. We use contractors for short-term tactical engagements.

Tony McGuire

Chief Executive Officer

Tony is the CEO of System Dynamics, with responsibility for the overall strategy of the company. Tony acquired System Dynamics in 1996, and merged it with Software Structures which he had founded in 1992. Tony has a strong track record of leadership within the software industry, including serving on the Executive Committee of the Irish Software Association, and the Governing Board of ICT Ireland.

Paul Carroll

Chief Operations Officer

Paul, a Board Director, is a Bachelor of Business Studies and a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland. He joined System Dynamics as Finance Director in 2000 and in 2009 he was appointed Chief Operations Officer assuming responsibility for all operations of the business including Finance, HR and Service Delivery. Paul previously worked with General Electric in the period 1995 to 2000.  

John Sexton

Group Sales Director

A System Dynamics board member, John has been leading, selling and consulting within the IT Services industry for over 20 years. His roles have included account management, business development and sales management within IBM, Unisys, and the JLS Group. John holds a 1st class honours degree in Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering from Trinity College Dublin and is a former Irish rugby international.

Nigel Sylvester

UK Sales Director

Nigel is UK Sales Director and is responsible for business development across the UK. Nigel has worked in the IT industry for over 25 years, where he has experience in both a user environment, as an IT Manager and working for major IT vendors. Nigel filled senior roles in IBM and Fujitsu Services prior to joining System Dynamics in 2007. Nigel is an avid golfer and a keen skier, as well as having sailed to international level.

Paul Hall

Enterprise Services Sales Director

Paul is Enterprise Services Sales Director. Paul has worked extensively in the IT industry for over 20 years. He has filled various roles from consulting, IT strategy, account management and strategic selling. Paul holds a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) and he has specific expertise in strategy definition, development and business alignment. Paul is a member of the Business Analysts Association and Secretary of the Irish IMI MBA Alumni. 

Freda Cunningham

Service Delivery Director

Freda is responsible for delivering our offerings to our clients. She has been leading, managing delivery, and consulting within the IT Services industry for over 15 years.  Freda is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland. Freda also completed a postgraduate diploma in IT in DCU and achieved a CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) certification with ISACA in 2003.
