System Dynamics signs €1.2m enterprise resource planning deal

System Dynamics has signed a €1.2 million contract to build an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system for Pernod RicardUK.
Under the terms of the deal with the drinks distributor, System Dynamics DWS—a joint venture with British firm DWS—will build a tailored ERP system using Oracle JD Edwards 9 ERP software. Implemented over 12 months, the system will have integrated financials, sales, procurement and inventory functions connected to Pernod Ricard’s back-office.
‘‘System Dynamics DWS clearly demonstrated it has a strong team and the right experience to implement JD Edwards into our UK business. We are looking forward to working with it on this important project,’’ said Simon Bennett, IT director, Pernod RicardUK.
