System Dynamics announced recently that it has signed a contract with the Legal Aid Board, for the supply and implementation of its new Legal Case Management System. The Project will be deployed by the Legal Aid Board as the backbone of its work processes tracking the full life cycle of all cases from the application stage through service delivery to case closure and archival functions. It will be used by over 350 staff members.

With significant increases in demand against a backdrop of challenging economic conditions, the Legal Aid Board anticipates streamlining and standardising its processes to ensure maximum benefits to staff and shorter waiting times for clients. The Legal Aid Board is striving to offer its clients a high standard of excellence both in terms of legal practice and customer service. It is the Legal Aid Board’s expectation that the Project will place them at the forefront of legal service delivery.

System Dynamics will deliver the Project using their Case Management Framework which is built using best of breed technology from Microsoft. The Project will be developed and rolled out over a 15-month period commencing immediately.

Commenting on the contract signing, Frank Brady, Director of Legal Aid, the Legal Aid Board said: "The Legal Aid Board sees the implementation of the Project as essential to the future development of the organisation and one which will assist the Board in delivering its mission of providing a professional, quality service to its clients in as efficient and effective a manner as possible."

Paul Hall, Enterprise Services Sales Director, System Dynamics: “We are delighted that the Legal Aid Board has selected System Dynamics and our Case Management Framework for this strategic project. This Project is our most significant implementation of our Case Management Framework to date and will bring our references in Case Management to over 15.”
